This webinar will provide some practical strategies for conducting effective evaluations and an enhanced understanding of how to craft appropriate feedback to faculty. Attendees will receive checklists, sample documents, and other resources. There was no opportunity to preview this webinar.

  • Learn to distinguish between course evaluation, teaching observations, and faculty evaluation
  • Gain guidance for using policy and contractual language in writing faculty evaluations
  • Explore the use of checklists as performance review aids
  • Understand the importance and effectiveness of writing less-than-positive reviews
  • Use the evaluation process to create a healthy climate for the whole department
