Using the Buffalo State Writing Handbook to Support Student Writing

10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. End Time
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. | Bulger Communication Center South

Learn to use Buffalo State’s writing handbook to deepen student learning and develop student writing across the curriculum. The Writer's Reference, the newly adopted common writing handbook, is now a required text for all College Writing Program courses (CWP 099, 101, and 102). Faculty across the campus are encouraged to assign the text as either a required or recommended text for their courses, particularly for courses requiring significant writing. This workshop will provide information about the content of the handbook, as well as offer suggestions for utilizing it within courses to support content learning and writing across the curriculum. This workshop will be led by Michelle Clark, executive editor with Bedford/St. Martin's.
