7:00 p.m. 11:57 p.m. Event has no end time
7:00 p.m. | Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State

In a dynamically illustrated talk, Buffalo State professor emeritus Francis Lestingi, Ph.D., will delve into all things Tesla, including the revealing story of the suppression of the EV over 100 years ago. Find out how the visionary inventor of alternating current power, wireless communication, radio, robotics, remote control, x-ray imaging, radar, neon, and fluorescent lighting foresaw technologies we are just beginning to harness.

Often called “the man who invented the twentieth century,” Nikola Tesla was a technological wizard whose far-reaching legacy is now inspiring the twenty-first. Our wireless world and desire for clean energy is a direct byproduct of Tesla’s singular genius, awareness of which has catapulted him from cult figure to global phenomenon.
