6:00 p.m. 7:30 p.m. End Time
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. | Classroom Building B228 (Stone Conference Room)

This teach-in, led by Dr. Laurie Buonanno, will focus on President Trump's immigration proposals including the proposed, End Illegal Immigration Act, better known as, "the wall." Discussion will focus on construction and funding of the wall, establishing a two-year minimum federal prison sentence for illegally re-entering the US after being deported, a five-year minimum federal prison sentence for deportees who re-enter the US as convicted felons, having multiple misdemeanors, or two or more deportations, and visa issuance reforms that would put American workers first. Additionally, the discussion will focus on the removal of federal funding for sanctuary cities, deporting the estimated two million illegal immigrants who live among us and canceling visa programs with countries who refuse to take their citizens back.
