How to Find Value in Other Cultures: A Community Based, International, Multicultural Event

9:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. End Time
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. | Campbell Student Union Assembly Halls

How to Find Value in Other Cultures will connect Buffalo State's multi-ethnic and international students with domestic students, and the Buffalo's West Side multi-national communities. We aim to build strong connections between our students and our neighbors through storytelling, cuisine, and cultural presentations.

The Anne Frank Project will present a play called Dear Me, a touching story about a boy who finds solace and guidance in the stories of souls from past ethnic and cultural conflicts after the death of his friend.

Engaging local restaurateurs within the refugee and immigrant population will help teach cultural appreciation through cuisine, as well.

Our students' cultural diversity will be highlighted through USG organization presentations and discussions.

This is a collaborative partnership with the Anne Frank Project, Creative Studies, and Internal Student Affairs. It is sponsored by the Office of Equity and Campus Diversity.
