Bradley Fuster joined the Buffalo State faculty in 2005 and serves as chair of music and associate professor of percussion. He holds a bachelor of arts in percussion from SUNY Geneseo, a masters of music in percussion from the Yale University School of Music, and the doctor of musical arts degree in percussion from the University of Southern California, with a minor in higher education policy analysis. As a performer, Fuster has toured and recorded on six continents as a symphonic percussionist and timpanist. He has performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, served as the principal timpanist with the Santa Monica Symphony, Pasadena Lyric Opera, Pasadena Symphony, New Haven Symphony, Los Angeles Debut Orchestra, The Korean Philharmonic, The Riverside Chamber Music Society of New York, Maelström Percussion Ensemble, and the Los Angeles-based new music group, Ensemble Green, which the Los Angeles Times claimed ...is well-equipped to fight the good fight, championing twentieth-century music in a mobile chamber setting. This percussion concert will feature works by Becker, Deane, Doughtrey, and Cahn.
Admission is free for all students, although a ticket is required for admission. Tickets on sale at the Rockwell Hall Box office, charge by phone at (716) 878-3005 or online. Free admission tickets are only available in person at the Rockwell Hall box office with valid student ID. The box office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and one hour prior to concert time.
