In honor of National Women's History Month 2012, the Buffalo State College Women and Gender Studies Interdisciplinary Unit presents its fifth annual exhibition featuring artistic and creative works by Buffalo State women (faculty, staff, students, and alumnae). Pieces include paintings, photography, woven and knit items, collages, and jewelry. A separate exhibit in the wall case explores the 2012 theme of Women's History Month, women's education-women's empowerment, which recognizes the pioneering leadership of women and their impact on the diverse areas of education. Viewable during regular library hours; see http://library.buffalostate.edu/hours/index.php. A reception honoring the artists will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 3:00–5:00 p.m. in the Butler Library lobby.
