When a peasant woodcutter, Sganarelle, is mistaken for a renowned doctor and is charged to cure a girl who's grown mute, his unorthodox remedies sets off raucous, inappropriate, hilarity! In spite of his lack of medical knowledge, with a dose of stupidity and a touch of heart, he proves that love and laughter are the best medicine.
