Archaeology Lecture: 'Neutrals on the Frontier: Constructing the Lake Erie Hatiwendaronk Niche'

Martin Cooper, of ASI Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, will summarize over three decades of research in the southeastern Niagara Peninsula, focusing on the Neutral Iroquoian community that resided there during the seventeenth century. 

This research involves archeological surveys and excavations as well as detailed environmental reconstructions, providing insight into the cultural ecology of this enigmatic group.
