Event Description:

The Buffalo State College Foundation celebrates its annual Scholarship Gala on Saturday, April 20, at the Statler. Join us as we name our All College Honors Program the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program in recognition of Buffalo State's seventh president.

100 percent of the net proceeds from the gala funds scholarships for student scholars in the honors program.

To purchase tickets, or for more information, visit http://giving.buffalostate.edu/gala or call (716) 878- 4895. Festivities begin with cocktails at 6:00 p.m. and dinner at 7:00, followed by a live auction and dancing. Creative orange tie is optional and valet parking is provided.

Event Description:

The public is invited to watch a collection of student-produced short films during the fifth annual Television and Film Arts (TFA) Film Forum. Sixteen TFA students submitted films ranging from parodies to mysteries to the forum.

The two-hour program will include a question-and-answer session with the filmmakers. Admission is free, however, donations are encouraged.

Event Description:

Buffalo State College will host the annual Foundation Scholarship Gala downtown this year. Because of the gala, each year, the Buffalo State College Foundation awards 200 scholarships to deserving students in the rigorous All College Honors program. Since this event was established in 1998, more than $1.5 million in scholarship funds have been awarded.

Now in its 15th year, the Scholarship Gala has become a much-anticipated fundraising event, attracting more than 500 guests for an evening of dining, dancing, and performances.

Festivities include wine and food pairings, followed by a multicourse gourmet dinner, dancing, and a live auction.
