Women's track athlete Toya Edwards (Brooklyn/Clara Barton) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The freshman paced the Bengals to a fourth-place finish at the SUNYAC Championships with a pair of first-place finishes and new school bests. Edwards won the 55-meter dash with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 7.24. She also won the 200-meter dash in 26.02.
