Women's Soccer Sprints Past SUNYIT, 6-0

Gina Monaco (Niagara Falla/Niagara Falls) scored four goals to lead Buffalo State (5-2-1/1-2) past host SUNYIT, 6-0, today for the Bengals first SUNYAC win of the season.

Liz Jacobsen (Gresham, OR/Sam Barlow) added two goals and two assists, and Kelsie Moran (Albany/Albany) had an assist. Katie Melsert (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa) made four saves for the shutout. Buffalo State outshot SUNYIT 20-5.

The Bengals next game is their home opener on Friday, September 30 against Oswego.
