Women's lacrosse player Stephanie Georgopoulos (Pt. Jefferson Station/ Comsewogue) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The freshman scored twice in a 17-3 win against Morrisville and tallied a career-high six goals in a four-overtime heartbreaking loss at Geneseo. Georgopoulos is second on the Bengals with 29 goals and 35 points.
