Posted: December 6, 2003
Buffalo State earned a 56-51 victory this afternoon at SUNYIT this afternoon despite shooting just 31.7-percent from the field and being outrebounded 40-38.

The Bengals held a 30-24 advantage at the intermission and held the Wildcats off the scoreboard in the final 3:48 to preserve the five-point victory. Beth Hogan (Great Valley/Salamanca) and Desi Gibson (Rochester/Edison Tech) led the Bengals' scorers with 10 points each. Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) and LaShay Minigan (Cypress, TX/Cy-Fair) each added eight points.

Buffalo State improved to 3-3 and 2-1 in conference play. The Bengals will not return to the hardwood until January 4 when they will host nationally-ranked Rochester.
