ORLANDO, Fla.--Pitt-Greensburg (5-3) outscored Buffalo State (3-7) 48-31 in the second half, to claim an 83-66 victory tonight in the consolation game of the RDV Sportsplex Tournament.

The Bobcats led for most of the opening half, but Gina Apa (Buffalo/McKinley) hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to tie the score at 35-35 at the intermission. Pitt-Greensburg scored first in the second stanza, however, and never looked back. The Bobcats dominated the Bengals inside, outscoring Buffalo State 40-12 in the paint.

Apa led the Bengals with a career-high 16 points. Darnika Moseley (Liverpool/Liverpool) was named to the All-Tournament Team after scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) added 11 points and five assists off the bench.

Hope defeated North Central, 71-45, to capture the tournament championship. Buffalo State will return to action at Medaille on January 10.
