UPD Safety Advisory: December 6, 2011

A resident female student reported to University Police that a man exposed himself to her on December 5 at 11:58 p.m. as she was walking along Rockwell Road. According to the student, the unknown male pulled up beside her in a car with the windows down. She ran to Porter Hall, and the suspect drove away. There were no witnesses. If you have any details that may be of assistance, please contact Buffalo State’s University Police at 878-6333.

University Police reminds all members of the campus community to be aware of their surroundings at all times. It is always a good idea to have a companion with you, especially when commuting in the evenings and early mornings.

University Police’s safe escort programs provide a walking companion or a ride on campus free of charge to all students, faculty, and staff. A personal escort to your car or residence hall can be requested by calling University Police at ext. 6333 (878-6333) from a campus or blue-light phone.
