Swimming and Diving Wraps Up North Country Invitational

POTSDAM, NY--Buffalo State completed the North Country Invitational in Potsdam today as the women placed second of four teams with 481 points, and the men finished third of four with 495.

Sarah Garasz (Lancaster/Lancaster) highlighted the women's racers today, touching first in the 100 free with a time of 57.91. Dave Papke (Woodlawn/St. Francis) earned a victory on the men's side in the 200 breast with a time of 2:25.23. Eric Hastings (Wilmington, DE/Mt. Pleasant) won the 1,650 free in 19:02.74, and Kevin Buisman (Penfield/Penfield) touched first in the 400 IM, clocking 4:41.24.

Buffalo State will next compete at the Grove City Invitational on December 2 and 3.
