A photo gallery documenting Buffalo State students’ trip to the Presidential Inauguration has been posted to the college’s Flickr site.
More than 50 Buffalo State students and faculty members traveled to Washington, D.C., for the historic occasion.
The one-day excursion, held January 21, was organized by political science major Muhammed Sumbundu, Buffalo State College Council student representative and student assistant in the President’s Office. Students witnessed President Barack Obama’s swearing-in ceremony and joined an audience estimated at 1 million to watch his inaugural address.
The Campus Life, Student Life, and Vice President for Student Affairs offices cosponsored the inauguration trip.
