Buffalo State's Jenelle Orosz (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) was named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

The junior English education major won the high jump at the Case Western and Mt. Union Invitationals on consecutive days. At Mt. Union, Orosz broke her own school record she set as a freshman, and met NCAA Championship qualifying standards, clearing 1.67 meters (5' 5 3/4").

Orosz and the Bengals will compete at Baldwin-Wallace on Friday in the final tune-up before the SUNYAC Championships on Feb. 16 and 17. Orosz will compete at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., on March 9 and 10.
