New Scholarship Opportunities For Buffalo State College Students

The following scholarships are available for Buffalo State College students for the 2003-2004 school year.

The Phillips Foundation offers the Ronald Reagan Future Leadership Scholarship. The scholarships are designed to help ease the financial burdens of students who are promoting American values on campus. Applicants must be U.S citizens and sophomore or junior full-time students. Applications are available outside GC211A or can be downloaded from www.thephillipsfoundation.org/futureleadersapplication.htm. Applications must be postmarked by Jan. 15, 2003.

The James Madison Graduate Fellowship offers an opportunity for a graduate-level fellowship worth up to $24,000 for current or prospective secondary school teachers of American history, American government, and Social Studies. Applications can be downloaded from www.jamesmadison.com. Deadline for applications is March 1.
