M&T Second Friday at Burchfield Penney

The Burchfield Penney Art Center's July M&T Second Friday, July 12, includes the celebration of five new exhibitions: Marilyn: The Douglas Kirkland Photoshoot; Ben Perrone: Illusion/Delusion; Andrew Topolski: Enjambment; Disclosure: Women of the Burchfield Penney Collection; and Odyssey, works from Aspire’s iXpress art program.

Kirkland will speak at 5:30 p.m. in the Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Auditorium about his iconic Monroe photoshoot as well as his career as a Hollywood photographer. At 7:30 p.m., the Buffalo Chamber Players will perform Odyssey, an original piece of music for seven-piece chamber ensemble, and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Let There Be Light artist Shasti O’Leary Soudant will present a hands-on workshop for all ages in the Useum.
