BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (3-8-2) scored four unanswered goals and snapped a seven-game winless skid with a 4-1 victory over visiting Lebanon Valley (1-10) tonight at the Ice Arena.

Travis Whitehead (Cambridge, ON) led the Bengals with a goal and an assist. Joe Curry (Indian River, ON), Jeff Mok (Richmond Hill, ON) and Nick Lynch (Depew, NY) also scored for Buffalo State, and Tyler Soehner (Baden, ON) and D’Arcy Thomas (Gatineau, PQ) each added two assists.

Lebanon Valley opened the scoring late in the first period, but the Bengals retaliated with two goals in the second and two more in the third to cruise to the win. Buffalo State held a 34-26 advantage in shots, as Kyle Gunn-Taylor (W. Seneca, NY) made 25 saves for the Bengals.

The Bengals will host the Flying Dutchmen again tomorrow for a 3 p.m. face off.
