BUFFALO, NY—Peter Dagel (Rochester/Gates-Chili) scored in the 66th minute to give Fredonia (10-5-1/8-1-1) a 1-0 victory over host Buffalo State (8-6-2/5-4-1) in a SUNYAC game today at Coyer Field.

After a scoreless opening half, Dagel one-touched a pass from Ryan O’Donnell (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) off the right wing through the legs of Buffalo State goalkeeper Dan Corti (Amawalk/Somers) for the goal.

Fredonia finished the game with a 13-6 advantage in shots. Corti made four saves for the Bengals. Scott Bergen (Schenectady/Monohasen) had just one stop for Fredonia.

Buffalo State will travel to Geneseo on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the regular season finale.
