The Buffalo State College Alumni Association will hold its fourth annual Young Alumnus Achievement Awards presentations on Friday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge of the Campbell Student Union.
Claudine Ewing, WGRZ-TV reporter, 1992 Buffalo State College graduate and 2004 Young Alumnus Achievement Award recipient, will emcee the event.
The 2005 Young Alumnus Achievement Award recipients are:
Richard Baumert, vice president, Millennium Partners, Miami, Fl., Class of 1986;
Joseph Golombek Jr., Buffalo Common Council Member, North District, Class of 1988 and 1994;
Nikolas Lemos, forensic laboratory director and chief forensic toxicologist, Office of Chief Medical Examiner, San Francisco, Ca., Class of 1993;
Brett Coppins, artist and educator, Lewiston-Porter High School, Youngstown, NY, Class of 1996 and 2002;
Aileen Hoffman, director, Family Services FEGS, Health and Human Services System, Syosset, NY, Class of 1988; and,
Darius Pridgen, senior pastor, True Bethel Baptist Church, Buffalo, NY, Class of 1988.
