Conversations In and Out of the Disciplines Lecture Series

A new roster of speakers has been announced for the annual Conversations In and Out of the Disciplines lecture series.

Launched in 2008 by Ann Colley, SUNY Distinguished Professor, English Department, the speaker series was established to further conversation between faculty and graduate students.

The series will feature guest speakers from a variety of disciplines.

Presentations will be held Fridays at 3:00 p.m. in Ketchum Hall 320. All faculty and graduate students are welcome.
September 24
Judith Walsh, professor of art conservation, will present an illustrated lecture, “American and Modern: The Legacy of Winslow Homer.”

Friday, October 22
Ed Standora, professor of biology, will discuss “Biotelemetry to Monitor Animal Behavior.”

Friday, November 19,
Dana Symons, assistant professor of English, will lecture on “Robin Hood: Relishing the Kill, Becoming a Man."
