In celebration of Milton Rogovin's 100th birthday in December, the Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State College will pay tribute to the acclaimed social documentary photographer on Oct. 24 - 25.
The two-day event is free to all, starting on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. with a screening of a new documentary about Rogovin’s life. At 2 p.m. there will be a reading from a new book about Rogovin and his art, followed by a birthday reception with Rogovin.
On Sunday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m., Eric Gansworth will do a reading from his recently published book featuring his poetry paired with Rogovin’s photos of Native Americans.
