BUFFALO, NY—Leah Bernal (Marilla/Iroquois) and Shantel Ackley (Baldwinsville/C.W. Bernal, a childhood education major, became the second Bengal in school history to reach 100-point milestone with a two-goal performance in an 8-5 win over Goucher on April 3 and currently holds the No. 2 spot with 104 points. Ackley, a health and wellness major, recorded two goals in a 17-8 victory over Potsdam on April 25 to secure her spot in the century club, bringing her point total to 101. Chelsey Frail, who played at Buffalo State from 2003-06, holds the scoring record with 127 points. Lyons, a social work major, notched three assists against Potsdam to set a school record for assists in a single season. The junior has 15 helpers on the year and surpassed Frail, who previously held the record with 14 set in 2003.
