Most of us have dreams, but when it comes to making them come true…well, we procrastinate. Or we get sidetracked.
Not so Jeanette Steiner, ’08. In a YouTube video, she tells her interviewer, Mike Madison (who is also her director and the star of Delivered) that she became curious about what it would be like to live someplace that focused on television and film. “I decided I had to know,” she said, “and so I came to L.A.”
In L.A., she spotted an opportunity to audition for a part in an independent film via Facebook. She got the part. Delivered was screened at several film festivals, and was released on Blu-ray just in time for Cyber Monday 2011.
Steiner majored in theater arts at Buffalo State, and performed in both college productions and local indie films before moving to California.
