Jackson Center Social Studies Conference

As part of the Year of the Teacher, the Buffalo State School of Education is proud to co-sponsor the Jackson Center Social Studies Conference.

The conference will feature several breakout sessions as well as presentations by Karen Korematus, founder of the Korematsu Institute; Professor John Barrett, U.S. Supreme Court expert; James Johnson, Chief of Prosecutions, Special Court of Sierre Leone; Kathy Swan, primary author of Common Core for SS (SKYPE), and Greg Alquist, 2013 New York State Teacher of the Year.

This event is also sponsored by Erie1 Boces, the Robert H. Jackson Center, and Erie 2 - Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES. Pre-registration is required.
