Exhibition: Buffalo in the 1940s: Monroe Bingaman and his Friends

12:00 a.m. 12:00 a.m. End Time
All day | Burchfield Penney Art Center

Friendship, collegiality, and influence are a reoccurring theme in the arts. Monroe Bingaman generated a body of work as a result of outings with friends Carlo Nisita and Richard Sigafoos. While they continued as painters, Bingaman chose the direction of business. How painting affected his approach to his business is hard to tell, but through his relationship with these friends he continued on as a life-long enthusiast and supporter of the arts.
